An Average Summer Day

It's been a rough summer here in Northern California. I live in the northeastern part of the state, less than 16 miles (as the crow flies) from the North Complex fire. On some days ash and nickel-sized charred scraps of the forest rain from the atmosphere and the smoke is as thick as fog on a San Francisco morning.
